LCC's "Shoot the Rock" Instructional Basketball League was organized in 1998 by (Ret) Air Force Chief Denny Peek, and the program continues today in his memory. It was developed for boys and girls from 4 years of age to 4th grade.  Our goal has always been to help children develop skills, sportsmanship and a love for the game - while having fun!  We want children to enjoy basketball so much that they want to return for next season.  Our volunteer coaches and officials teach the fundamentals and rules of the game - passing, dribbling, shooting, defense, sportsmanship, etc.  We value the contributions of our many past/present volunteer coaches and officials who continue to make our instructional basketball league a SUCCESS!
